About me

Hello, everyone! My name is Meysoon Katan, and I am an artist. I have always had a passion for art, and over the years, my work has evolved and developed in exciting new ways.

My journey as an artist began when I was a young girl. I remember being captivated by the colors and textures of the world around me, always eager to capture the beauty I saw on paper. My family recognized my talent and encouraged me to pursue my passion, so I enrolled in art classes in high school and eventually went on to study graphic design in university.

After graduation, I worked as a digital graphic designer for many years, but I always felt that there was more to my artistic journey. I wanted to explore the world of painting and create works that would connect with people on a more emotional and visceral level.

In my paintings, I like to explore the human experience and the various emotions that we encounter in our daily lives. I am particularly interested in exploring the psychological aspects of pain and how we cope with adversity.

As an artist, my technique has evolved over the years. I am always experimenting with new styles and techniques, striving to create work that is both visually striking and emotionally powerful. My favorite mediums to use include acrylics, oils, and mixed media, as I enjoy the depth and texture that I can achieve with these materials.

One of the things that I value most about my art is the way that it connects with others. Seeing people react to my work and connect with it on a personal level is deeply fulfilling for me as an artist. I am always grateful for the opportunity to share my work with others and to inspire them in their own creative journeys.

Overall, I see my art as a reflection of my own journey through life, and I hope that it touches others in meaningful ways. Thank you for joining me on this journey, and I look forward to sharing more of my work with you in the future.
